International students in Australia are required to have Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of their stay. This health insurance covers basic medical services such as doctor visits, hospital stays, and emergency treatment. Arrange OSHC directly through an approved insurance provider.

Yes, international students can work part-time while studying in Australia.If you hold a student visa (subclass 500), you are permitted to work up to 48 hours per fortnight. Your student visa will specify work restrictions, so be sure to check the conditions of your visa before you start working.
